		<description>Excellent post!  Yes, your decision to buy foreign products (over domestic) has a dramatic impact on world affairs.  From the perspective of neoclassical economists (like Ricardo and Smith), the impact is benign.  The Chinese, according to this logic, are much better off, and it would be terrible for their standard of living if you (and all of us) were to stop buying their products.  What do you think?</description>
